Long time no blog!

Hey there bloggers! It's been a while since I last wrote a blog, hasn't it? Well I'm sorry about that but this whole grown up business is very busy.

I was at Parachute 2013 this weekend just been and got home at 5:30 a.m on monday and started work at 8. Twas good fun. :P

But golly Parachute was amazing!! :D I met the lead singer from Mumsdollar, saw Lacrea, Switchfoot, Evermore (they remberered me and my friend from the mosh pit!), New Empire, Until Autum and so many other bands live!

I could go on and on about it but I won't..

But I will just tell you that on the way to Hamilton we stopped at a $2 shop and I decided that we should all buy these huge bubble things. So we did.

Then we went to the huka falls.

And we found these flippin cool sunglasses.

Well I'm sorry but that's all from me today. I need to go to bed so I can work all day tomorrow and not fall asleep :P

Oh! Just btw, Lecrae is awesome. I recommend you listen to him.

I've been procrastinating. Again.

I've been procrastinating again! This time I was trying to make scrunchies to take to camp for my campers but I found this really really fllippin' awesome fabric that I decided I wanted it to become a skirt instead of just a piece of fabric. So I made a skirt. No pattern, just my brain. I think it looks pretty cool.. Kinda hipster-ish.. 

What do you think? Do you like it? :) 

I do! But I think it's time to go make those scrunchies..

This is a blog from a grown-up.

That's right. I'm a grown up now! Can't you see it?!

Well the only reason I'm saying I'm a grown up now is because I got a job! Yup. Total grown up right here. I haven't started yet.. I start on the the 18th or something..

You're probably wondering what this cool grown up got for Christmas aye? 

Well, the theme of my presents this year was, as I like to call it, "Mustaches and Bow ties," mainly because almost all my presents had a mustache or bow tie on..

I think if I wear a bow tie whilst drinking from this cup it should be in both categories, don't you think?

Another AMAZING present I got was from Sheryl. It was the new Rhys Darby DVD! It's flippin' awesome!

(and on the cover he's wearing a bow tie!) 

I think that's enough from me for now.. Oh! But before I forget, happy new year!! I hope you all have a great 2013! Even though 2012 sounds cooler than 2013..

Just another ramble..

So it's almost Christmas. I haven't bought anyone a present. I decided, since I'm poor and don't have a job (yet), that my mummy can put my name on the things she gets people - I save alot of money and time that way..

It doesn't really feel like Christmas though.. So I don't really have much Christmasy rambling to do.

So I'll talk about broccoli.

Look at that beautiful broccoli! I grew it all by myslef! ;)

It tasted really really good.

 

Ohh look! I went to the beach!

Yes, I did go to the beach by myslef and read.

What else am I meant to do? Go with friends? That's ridiculous!

Reading is pretty much my best friend. Almost..

 

And later, after growing broccoli and going to the beach I picked flowers.

Flowers make me happy.

I like flowers.

I had my vaulting christmas show! It was really fun!

My team, the Swans, theme was vampires.

I don't have any photos yet but I'll be sure to put some up when I do. :)

I went to Abbys! For a total of four nights. Four nights of top and tailing with my best friend.

It was fun top and tailing.. We haven't done that since we were like 7!

*Today*

 

Today, I was babysitting.

Did lost of baking.

And bathed them, Levi and Micah.

Just stuff..

I survived! The wedding is over! I think it went pretty well.. It was just pretty stressful.. But it's over now! And I'm so glad I'm not getting married..

But now I have heaps of free time.. So me and Sheryl went adventuring at the beach..We found eggs..

Obviously, we kept them.. And named them..

This one is Snazz! Sheryl is looking after Punk and Trolley man..

 

Oh! And did you know it's nearly Christmas?! I only realized today.. So I got over excited and did some decorating :D

This is probably one of the coolest Christmas things we have..

Oh!!! And this thing is awesome! It sings me little songs when you press the buttons..

 

And these are the beautiful flowers us bridesmaids had for the wedding!

As you may have noticed, I take some really stupid/funny photos when I'm tired.. And I laugh at myself a lot.. But that's okay, I'm not weird.. :P

New shoes. Oh how I love shoes!

So yesterday, mother and I went shopping for shoes (for her, not me) and while we were looking I found some shoes on clearance for $20 down from $90, and I had been eyeing up that exact pair of shoes for a while so I asked my mum if I could have them, she said yes! :D 

Aren't they beautiful?! I love them, a lot. 

I've had a pair like this, but in black. I'm stepping into a whole new world of shoe land! This is the first time I've ever had a pair of shoes that is this kind of colour, normally I just get black or some bright colour.. :P 

And now I'll share some photos of what I've been up to today so far...

So after playing with my shoes I played with flowers. I like flowers.

Conclusions I've come to on this lovely Wednesday afternoon...

So today I've been thinking quite a bit about growing up, I've realized, that no matter how hard I try not to grow up, I will actually have to. Also I realized that I hate jumping off high things.. So that might be a problem for being in the SAS.. Jumping off an air plane would be rather high... So I've come to the conclusion that the SAS isn't for me. Sad isn't it? It would of been so much fun! 

And now that that's not a possibility I have no idea what I should do instead! 

Maybe possibly I could do a short nanny course or something? And work part time, as well as finishing off year 13 Cambridge school work stuff? Could that be a good idea? Cause I really don't know.. 

On to none important things such as NCEA level 1 maths, that stuff is pretty easy compared to my Cambridge maths.. I kinda wish I did NCEA instead of Cambridge.. But then I don't because I always like a good challenge, unless it's maths.. I hate maths.. :P

  And another thing! My brother is getting married in SIXTEEN DAYS! 

SIXTEEN.

That's very soon! 

And I have horse vaulting show the week after.. I guess you could say I'm a little bit stressed. Not really sure why but these sound like good excuses. :P 

Another conclusion I've come to today is that bruises hurt, especially when you have over twenty just on one leg! 

Also I've realized that I say also a lot and that my bloggingness isn't as cool when I don't put photos in, so here is a photo of me trying to be cool and Abby just being a babe like always.

That's all the conclusions I can remember that I came up with today so I'm leaving now.. :P
